UNC Milford Project

Love.War.Science.Puberty.Science.In that order.

Join us for the Department of Dramatic Art’s newest main stage production premiering this spring “The Milford Project” on Feb. 23 in the Kenan Theatre at the CDA!

Last seen at the L.A. Fringe Festival, “The Milford Project” is set in 1937 Iowa, though little attempt at historical accuracy shall be made. MILFORD tells the story of Richie, a thirteen-year-old science prodigy who attracts the attention of the US government with his research into the properties of the atom. Richie is secretly conscripted to construct a superweapon America can use to in the coming war… because no one ever suspects the child. This musical comedy is written by Kevin Oeser and Nick Martin, and is directed by Playmakers actor and professor Scott Ripley.
